10L Dead Center to short...won't eject

I had a similar problem on my SB 10K. One of the tools that wouldn't eject was a live center so couldn't build it up with weld. I made a longer lead screw for the tailstock.

I too had a similar problem with my Logan 820 not ejecting a drill chuck. I used JB-Weld to put an Acorn nut on the end.

I ended up adding weld to lengthen.

I have the same issue with my new live center for my 9A. I too will have add some length to it.
