Young Friend in Much Pain

Prayers going up.

We stay at Ronald McDonald House on LI which is near the hospital my son is admitted to for chemo.
It is a wonderful place- thank God for it. We are with the other families of kids who are struggling as our son is.

My son gets at home schooling also for 2 hours a day just like your young friend- it is tough for all of them to maintain focus, but they struggle and do it.

We met for coffee with these folks the other night. The lad is back home and doing surprisingly well. He can't really walk on his own or even with crutches more than 10 feet. With a walker it is better. Driving is very painful. Can't go far at all, maybe 15 minutes. Strangely, he gets around pretty good by kind of crawling. He will be working with the local hospital 2x a week now and 1x a week in the city. Thanks for your prayers.

just a quick update.
Our young friend is improving! He is back to school for a few hours a week. That is progress. He has his ups and downs but overall seems to be doing better. Thank you for praying.
