What Did You Buy Today?

Didn't get it today, but I got my Atlas 618 a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm always shopping for more parts.... Gotta get a quick change tool post, the list is long
Hello and welcome.

There are lots of folks on here with 618's so feel free to list what you're looking for. If you want to sell you need to be a supporting member but nothing wrong with asking for stuff.

Good to see another bay area hobbyist.

Thanks John,
Just looking to get this one up and running. Though a steady rest, or the milling attachment will be on the shopping list for sure.

I pulled the trigger on this after my little inverter welder suddenly had a quick death on the job about two weeks ago. I still think it is a small problem that can be fixed but it will have to wait.

My new and very new to me new Pinnicle fluxcore gassless welder with TIG,ARC and Gass MIG welding capabilities. I'm very excited. I am currently busy building it a cart to sleep on. I got it for a good price,if converted from Rand to US $,it is about $228. Included in the price is everything on the table, the welder alone was $200.

How do you do TIG without gas? Or does it have capacity to run Ar?

It appears to do MIG (with gas) but can do flux core 'MIG' as well (can't remember the proper name for welding with flux core; obviously can't have 'MIG' in the name as that would make no sense ) so I guess it must have gas input.
