Trying To Polish Delrin

Hello. My experience with delrin is to machine it with a diamond tipped cutter, or if sanding is necessary use a touch of diamond paste to polish it when the sanding is done.
 
I've had very good luck with the following:
  1. Cut with the cleanest edge possible. I use HSS and it's fine.
  2. Rough with smooth file to get rid of ridges if any present.
  3. Sand with 220 sandpaper
  4. Sand with 400 sandpaper
  5. Finish with steel wool
  6. Polish with Mother's Aluminum wheel polish on steel wool
