Steam Engine + Steam Hammer + Toy Caps = FUN​

Finally got around to 'Bustin Caps' using my steam driven trip hammer. Literally was a blast and did enjoy myself immensely

Amazing the memories that flooded back to me as soon as I smelt those burnt caps, thank you

Memories, memories- when I was a kid I had a huge loudspeaker with no cone but a very large heavy magnet. Hoisted that sucker up with a rope, magnet side pointing down. Place whole roll of caps on the ground directly underneath and let her go!
I'm sure I have hearing damage from that... my dad wasn't too happy about the black marks on the patio

OK ... but, where the heck can somebody buy caps nowadays????

Apparently Cabela’s still sells them — 1200 for three bucks!

They are getting hard to buy here in Australia, most are now round red plastic and either 6 or 12 shots
