Reconditioning The Champion Forge Camel Back Drill Press

nice job paul
they were not worried about noise were they lol
i could just imagine what a shop full of machines running from flat belts in the overhead would sound like
steve

They make more noise with the clips than with a glued belt, But I already had the clips and the belts are pretty old.

Paul

Thanks for sharing this rebuild Paul. The machine has turned out great. I know you spent slot of time on the machine as well as all of your posts and photos. Thanks again!

Thanks David I enjoyed the build and thank you for watching and posting.

Paul

Great job on a rebuild, I just love the sound of those old machines. Thanks for the videos and the pictures.

Paul,

I love these old drill presses, they have character. It's great to see one brought back to its former glory. The only problem with using one is their slow speed, they like LARGE drill bits.
