Oilite bronze bearing acceptable wear

Yes, 19.05 si 3/4" or should I better say 3/4" is 19.05mm since the shaper was manufactured in UK using imperial units. The machine was originally made for a german technical school and it is truly a metric machine, at least where dials are present it has metric leadscrews M16x2.5mm. But... I find a little strange that although it is a metric machine the table up-down leadscrew (z axis) is imperial not metric, with a 5/8"x10TPI thread, it is true that it doesn't have a dial on this axis.

I use metric because I am not accustomed to imperial measurements, I've learned that i need to (at least) understand imperial sizes as it seems great stuff was made using this system.
