That is exactly what we have.
7.5 hp motor and do not try a static converter....Ours came with one and top speed kicks out the protector.
Vfd not usually an option due to size so RPC is best.
Oil in clutch matters as too thick and it will not work proper and gearbox oil too thick will cost hp of the motor.
This lathe will get the job DONE but consider delivery...It will be difficult to move and it needs a floor space of 5 by 12 feet
We took a 3/8 depth of cut on 7 inch round and it did not phase it, that was the size of the cutting edge so limited to that.
It weighs in at 6500 pounds, we made pallets for each end and can move it with a pair of pallet jacks.
If it has reverse make sure motor Runa correct direction otherwise the reverse is reversed...
Go to practical machinest and search there for information and read the rules before posting.
