Need to turn tungsten, HELP!

To fit the weight requirement it needs to be between 17 and 19gm /cubic centimeter.
I don't mind the expense of a small piece, it's just got to be able to be turned and drilled in a reasonable manner.

How about Mallory Metal used to balance engines? Likely an engine shop in your area will have some, specially if there is a racetrack local as well.

That is where I ended up this afternoon. Plan on calling them tomorrow.

Tungsten is usually formed by sintering powdered metal. We have used copper infiltrated Tungsten for rocket nozzles for both their anti-erosion and easy (relatively) machining properties.
