Need Recomendations For A Vise

This is a great vise for the money. I have one that I'm very happy with.

I have the Shars clone of the Kurt vise and it needed some work to make it operate as intended. It was clear that the factory cloning them did not understand how the lockdown feature is supposed to work on the Kurt vise. The parts were there, but parts that were supposed to slide against each other, to lock down the moveable jaw, were left in a rough "as cast" condition. The ramp that pulls the jaw down had a lip cast into that was preventing it from being pulled down. Some pictures of the internals are on my Flickr page here https://flic.kr/s/aHskuo7Ln9
