This has proven much more difficult than I thought it would be. I've tried about twenty so far and this is the best one. It looks better than the pic but still is not good enough. Having trouble getting the ends squared off and it is unraveling to much. Plus it is hit and miss on the OD and length. Very dependent on how much tension you hold the wire at while turning. Wondering if I annealed first then trying to reharden if that might work.
