Iding A Chuck?

The soft jaws are in my budget,so I may pick up couple sets.Plus the set that I have which I will kinda practice on for that first special job. Thanks again guys this is fantastic

Remember, the chuck that kroll has, can be dialed in if there is any runout with a new set of hard jaw tops. Ken

I often turn very thin section parts for the high vacuum industry, sometimes 10' OD X 1/4" thick with counterbores and O-Ring face grooves and find full circumference jaws (often called Pie Jaws) indispensable for such work. This is a set of 12" Pie jaws on an 8" chuck, I turned a pocket 8 1/2" diameter X .060" deep to hold the part, worked a charm.
