I looked at this pages source code, and this is what is doing it.

So if you have a decent add/js blocker, you should be able to target just this file.

Odd, for the first time in about two months I can see the forum page full-screen on my iPad mini rather than just 2/3 width. Seems coincident with the appearance of the snow -- I'll take it!

Snow is a nice thing to... visit! It was a wonderful thing to move from Pipestone, MN to Sacramento, CA all those decades ago. Minnesota is a nice place to be from, far from! We had three seasons there, shovel, swat, and August. Here in Sacramento every couple years we get a few flakes of snow that does not stick. The Sierra Nevada mountains are an hour and a half away if we want to remember how cold our hands and feet can get. I used to ski, winter ski backpack, and winter mountaineer just for fun. I added the file to my AdBlock+, and it works! No more snow! Put the shovel back in the garage!

So that's why there's oil dripping off the bottom of my screen and into my keyboard. That's a relief. I thought the oil seals in my monitor were shot.
