I'll be interested to see what you get from KBC Tools on the blades - the blades I have are BIPCO, which is what they show a photo of. I haven't cut much that is very hard, but the seem to cut reasonably well. Mine are 10 tooth - I see they are out of stock on those right now. I think I can use a longer blade with a little adjustment - need to take a couple measurements. I can certainly use a wider blade as it is right now.
I got the blades from KBC, they are BIPICO (made in India is stamped on one them). I got the 10 tooth and the 14 tooth. I think the 14 tooth was non-stock when I ordered and it only took 1 day longer to arrive. I will say that KBC is super wasteful on their postage (their loss). They sent my $19 order in 3 separate UPS shipments, and then sent me 3 separate invoices by snail mail even though I paid online.
Now to hijack a bit... I went to mount my blade and realized I'm not sure how to do it. At the rear end of my blade holder there is a blade sized
slot and a metal pin (this makes sense) but the front end is a wide slot with no holes or anything. Am I missing something?
