Electrical for my Clausing 8530 Mill

Thanks i will take a look later when we get closer. As i said earlier it was set for 220. I thought it was 110 but i was wrong. I will double check wiring though to make sure. As i also stated it ran beautifully when i bought it and no one has touched the wiring since.
 
That connector is likely oddball hvac type.

240 vac with safety ground.

Easy to check, ohmeter to check between the ground in and any shiny part.

Next look for any WHITE wires inside control boxes as well as any connections to controllers.

Connect one side of ohmeter to the ground pin and touch the other lead to every other connection looking for any that are connected to the ground.

Only connection should be labeled as ground.

Machine is grounded in the box and a ground goes to the outlet if i remember correctly. The 110 feed motor is not grounded. I plan to get a new heavy wire and rewire that to be grounded.
