Cylinder Square?

I use a wrist pin out of a truck engine for an inexpensive cylinder square, Cummins or Cat.

Here is another option to make a circular square. In summary it's a piece of pipe with plates welded on the end, center drilled and turned to finished diameter and length. As you rotate the finished square on the surface plate there will be one point on the diameter that will be perfectly square, mark it for future reference. As you check the square, you can even correct for small diameter differences.

If I ever need a cylinder square the size of a stovepipe I'll keep that in mind LOL

I found a set of new wrist pins for a Ford 401 diesel engine that I use. Glad I kept them.

I will check, but I think they were in a rebuild kit I used years ago.

@walterwoj I have a cylinder square might work for you. Will need to be lapped in though.
