Building a gantry crane for your shop...

I'm in and out of OR's and Radiology labs a bit. What you usually can't see are the huge counterweights and nice needle bearings involved. That stuff is indeed heavy, so they balance it very well.

I've got a shop built gantry in my place. One day I'll have to get my camera and get some pictures of the shop together.
