I am cleaning up an old belt driven Boyar Shultz 612 Surface Grinder.
After taking everything apart, I am down to one piece I cannot figure out...
The table feed shaft.
I have the Pinion Gear removed.
There is a large screw cap on the far left side, I expected to find a poppet ball and spring under, nothing under this screw cap.
A grub screw on the top side of the casting.
The Shaft is spring loaded and should exit toward the operator.
Any ideas on how this comes apart?
