I've had this same concern, if I had something heavy on one side of the table. It just looks very top heavy.
Not to hijack the thread but here is my machine on a base I built. I level it with the 4 levelers on the corners , then drop the two other bolts in the middle and only lightly snug them . Am i overthinking the tipping thing ? I like the cable to the ceiling idea .
