Which tablet?

I recently switched to a Samsung A7 lite, not because the 5yr old Amazon tablet didn't work, but because I got tired of the ads.

I managed to get the 4th "axis" up and running and it combines well with the z axis quill. Very happy with this setup. It all worked great with the old fire tablet, but again, I got tired of the ads.

The old tablet and it's twin are in the tool cabinet for future emergency use, or perhaps the possibility of getting drafted for a 2 axis lathe dro on my clapped out atlas 10".

How did you tap the quill scale ?

I replaced the pm-30's quill scale with a 6" imaging absolute dro+ that I cut down slightly. It actually fits in reasonably well. I'll try and remember to get some pics tomorrow.
