What size "Create Tool" Multifix for 1440GT

I was out on some errands today and didn't see this message until recently, but here's what I got as measurements:

Top of the carriage surface to the spindle CL = 4.5"

Top of compound from the top of the carriage surface = 2.78"

Therefore the top of the compound to the spindle CL is 1.72"

Note that these measurements are rounded to the nearest .005" or so. This should get you well within the "ballpark" of what you need to know for this purpose. There are also likely to be some manufacturing tolerance differences over the years as my lathe was manufactured in 2017.

P.S. The compound width is 2.944

After review, I think the E is the right size. The B is pretty darn big.

Got the E ordered and notice during filling out the forms that they are located in Wuhan :).

I agree that the E version is the right size for the 1440GT.
