This is the Deckel SO manual. What makes it good, other than being awesomely illustrated, is the sections on grinding different bit types.

What are you grinding in that photo?
The Deckel SOE and some later Alexander 2CG's had a retractable stop for the head rotation so you could do more relief. This made it easy to make small dovetail cutters. The SOE manual shows more shapes.

That is what I came up with to make the quarter cut on shop-made single flute countersinks.
Thanks for the YT tip, I'll check that out!
