Lol thanks. It looks like a automotive/motocross coil over spring adjuster would work. I didn’t have enough hand pressure to tighten it enough to keep the drill from slipping.
If it won't tighten enough, the jaws are probably shot. If it's a premium brand there is likely a rebuild kit available for it. Until then a strap wrench will also work.
I’m healing up from a broken shoulder so I’m a little weak. I think the main issue is that I have to stretch out a bit to reach the brake and the chuck at the same time.
Just tighten by holding the drill in the chuck and turn the knurled piece to tighten lightly . Then give it a jerk . If it doesnt tighten , the jaws may be bad as stated above . Is that an Albreght ?
