The only thing I refuse to buy from china is food stuffs. The majority of frozen fish in our two major supermarkets comes china or is packed in china.
At least our fresh produce doesnt come from china.

Today I ordered an Acme threaded rod, block of bronze and a left hand Acme tap. Time to repair the cross slide screw on my lathe.

Picked up a 2" digital mic, and a set of precision squares. The mic is an inexpensive purchase to see if I like the concept. Seems to be decent quality, will see how the battery life is and check it out for accuracy. Non machinist related, but got this Ruger target pistol from a neighbor. For $100 I couldn't say no. Mike

I have a Mk II, different barrel profile, but a fun and surprisingly accurate pistol, about as cheap as you're going to get for ammo.
