What did I buy?

Bought this lot of two things at an auction. The one is obvious, says universal slot master on the side. It appears to work, and is the reason I bought the lot ( in the hopes of one day buying a mill to put it on. Wait, that’s what it is, right? A slotting attachment for a mill?) The other part is what I am unsure of. There is a gear train inside the casting that is supposed to rotate the chuck, but it appears locked up. Maybe I can take the chuck off and repurpose it, although it doesn’t have a very large work holding range for how large it is. So what is it? Does anyone want it? 2401C174-83D2-4315-AFCB-85C7368FF313.jpeg99CE6227-18B4-45C5-85CA-D8EB39531A3E.jpegCF6E319E-D8A7-4C26-BE81-8E511AE03AC2.jpeg8FC117DD-C7A8-427A-81D4-96A2321E6CF0.jpeg0F6C55CD-94A6-4649-A8B2-BC6B37EC0FFF.jpeg5BBF564C-FBF4-462A-9FCA-12F47B11C614.jpeg

In the 5th pic the part on the lower left may possibly be a collet chuck for a cnc lathe. I may be all wet on this and it's for the tool master. If it is a collet closer it should have a large nut with it that screws onto the spindle.

It looks like possibly a 16c closer and you would have to turn it over and measure the opening on the back to see what spindle it's made for.

They are quite expensive to buy new I might add, but it it doesn't have the nut that would bring the price down substantially. Mine is an ATS brand and is labeled with the brand name. Hopefully you can find some markings on it somewhere.

Here are pics of the 16c chuck on my lathe. Turn the part over and take a pic of it. That will help to identify it.

Thanks everyone. That 5th pic is actually part of the slotter, it was inside the split tube, it seems like just a flange to bolt onto a mill.
