I bought this Victor lathe years ago. It came with a static phase converter already wired. That worked fine for me except however they hooked it up involved removing all the factory contactors/controls on the rear of the machine. None of the front controls worked and the tucked the switches and indicator lights in the front panel.

Recently I finally got my rotary converter installed. I started to change the lathe back but hit a brick wall. I have purchased 3 manuals for this machine. I have spoke to Victor directly. I have searched and have not found a wiring diagram for a machine with a high/low motor. I know that I need to replace everything as the contactors are not correct. This control stuff is not my strong suit. Definitely not without a diagram. Does anyone have a diagram? Those Square D contactors must be improper replacements- there should be safety interlock NC contacts and I don't see them
How many HP is the motor? You might be better off just installing a VFD
That is what I would do

Need more pictures- I don't see the main power cable and the main power to the starters is missing
That, and the one dangling yellow wire are the only discrepancies as far as I can tell
I just put in that picture of whats existing, they aren't staying. From what I have found there should be 4 contactors, a transformer and fuses.

Have you tested the RPC you have with the motor connected direct to see that it will run it?
I would do that if you haven't
