I'd like to make a larger table for mine also, but want to figure out a way to make it quick connect instead of the 2 screws. I like the vice mod. The vice has been one area I wish was designed differently. I was considering just making 2 new jaws vs bolting something to the originals. Simply welding the plates and gussets and milling/drilling the mounting holes/slot. Would take about the same about of time and work as he spent in the video I think.

I fabbed a jig that clamps in the vice and sits on top of small plate. I don't have to take out screws for quick change from horizontal to vertical. I planned on making a larger table on this jig, but haven't needed it so it hasn't been necessary. By being narrow feeding hasn't been an issue.
