Good evening, folks,
I just published a build with a bunch of small bug fixes. Most are cometic, but there were a few that were pretty obtrusive. Namely, "Add New Tool" dialog was not opening and tool offset was not showing on some devices.
I did a full sweep of the UI and fixed everything that didn't look "perfect" on my tablets, If you find any UI issues, please post a screenshot and a short description/tablet info.

Thank you all for great feedback. It's been super helpful.

Regards
Yuriy

Add tool works great, error message when using lathe add holes entering a negative value in the step increment says enter a positive value in the Y axis, the Z axis is displayed as it should just the error message references the Y axis, I assume its from the mill carry over code.

Thank you for the bug report. Found the problem and fixed (will be in the next build). This is what happens when a developer gets too proficient with copy/paste button :)

yep, but looks like all the heavy work is done. Getting an apk from a source other then google play will help all the users with older tablets. Google blocks all androids using jelly bean an older. My tablet that has been running touchdro for years I cant down load the new version. I cant even load the old version from google play. Thankfully apk pure has the old touch dro. For now I am using a newer tablet for the new version, but it would be nice to have a use for my old tablet. Thanks for all your time and work on touch dro.

Well, I'm of two minds on this, frankly. On one hand it's frustrating that Google blocks access for older OS versions. On the other hand, sites like Apkpure are basically distributing software they download from play store without developer's permission. For TouchDRO it doesn't matter materially, since I don't charge for it, but for all intents and purposes they are letting you download a pirated copy of my app.

All this said, TouchDRO V3 doesn't run on anything below 5.0 (Lollipop), since 4.x has some hard limits that I can't fit into. I spend a week trying to add various workaround and the app simply crashed randomly for no good reason. With Google it's a constant dance of "oh, we just changed the rules, you have till <insert date here> to comply or your app will be delisted". Starting May 1st I will need to target a version that no more than 3 versions behind latest, so not sure how that will work.

I installed the latest beta version today and it I can confirm the bug with saving negative values in points is fixed when using a non US-locale. Version 3 of this app just keeps getting better and better.

Do what's easiest, new tablets are cheap. Work arounds for older tablets may exist but until the new apk is up an running it should be a minor concern. I found a fix for jelly bean playstore. So getting it from playstore for older android may still be possible for user on the backend. I just flashed my old galaxy tab from 3 to 6 and it's working fine.

I am creating several workspaces in lathe and using share tool library, the tool library erases and isn't populating between workspaces. When selecting tool offset only custom is displayed. Switching between workspaces the tool library erases. So far all else in lathe is working great.

This is fixed in today's build (should roll out in a couple of hours; current "pending approval" from Google).
Thank you for reporting it.
