Whilst #7 may not work, 7 star Metaxa (Greek Brandy) or Ardbeg "Wee Beastie"certainly does the trick, at least, it does for me at the moment.....

Wee Beastie is currently the cheapest in my small whiskey collection and I have no intention of wasting good whisky, especially a single scotch whisky at that, on a toothache!

It's not "wasted" on a toothache. It's enjoyed in spite of a toothache.

Good way of looking at things, but I refuse to use any one of my Tallisker, Laphroig, Balvenie et-al Whiskys..

Anywhoosle, back to topic methinks! LOL

No ink here either. Always needed parts for the bike or truck. Or food for the kids. Always something.
I do have scars.
