you would think that they could use seismic graphs to locate the plane's crash point. Apparently it had auto pilot on and they are not sure if it's in 2 lakes, or if it continued on.. in either case, it would leave a trace seismically.

Air tags suck, my mom had us put them in our phone cases and when my brother lost his twice they didn’t work.

Looks like they found it. Glad the pilot is safe but that's an expensive mistake....
