I came across a hint that really works. You turn off the lights or wait till it gets dark. Then you take a flashlight and use it to find what you are looking for. Apparently, the beam of the flashlight helps you focus on what you are looking for. I've tried it a few times and most of the time it works........... Now if I can find that flashlight. Heck, I can't even find my way out of the shop.
