threading a 1/2 hole useing acme thread

Thats a good one Ron got added to my favorites. 1/2 is delicate. I made plenty of leftys taps and just slit them with
my air whizzer. All I know is no such acme left taps around here.
 
what a surprise to wake up to Ron thank you very much for the info, the sheldon lathes seem to have all lh acme threads so this is going to help a bunch:biggrin::biggrin:
 
this would be some good info if you could show or tell members how to make a acme tap that would be great:biggrin:
