As Im learning I was asked by a friend from high school if I could make him a baseball bat. I quickly told him no Im just learning, but Ive been tryin to make a small one for my youngest son like key chain size. Hes big into baseball. I came close last night, but my taper looked real bad. So Ill keep trying.

Is there any directions on how to make the captured nut?

I'm just "testing" the lamp before the base, but...I think this will become permanent.

Burr Puzzles for Christmas

I made these three puzzles for my two grandaughters and Dad for Christmas. They are made from 360 Brass, Copper and Aluminum. The copper wasn't a lot of fun. I'm in the process of drilling through the final piece to put in a threaded retaining pin to prevent the toe seeking ouch missles that would inevitably find my grandaughters feet at some point.

Thanks DMS. They took me waaay longer to make than I care to admit. Still learning. This was my first project other than the mounting brackets for my DRO.
