Test Indicators

I buy all my stuff from these guys. http://idealprec.com/ They also have a used/refurbished section. Service is good too.
Interesting! I just bought a used Mitutoyo from them! I think it was a fair price. There were some cheaper elsewhere but I liked what they had to say!

Although the original box is gone, it was kind of nice that their communication was very professional!

“Sorry for the late reply. These are used and do not come in the original boxes. The new ones do come in a fitted box (not case).
We have been an authorized Mitutoyo distributor and accredited service provider for over 30 year and have not seen any knock offs of the 2803S-10 (new model 2803A-10) indicators yet. Thank you for your interest!”

“Pricing includes inspection and verification prior to shipment by our ISO accredited service dept. to meet or exceed manufacturer specs.”

So this is an interesting test indicator model that I have no seen before from Mitutoyo 513-446-16a and 513-443-16A, which is similar to the Compac models that are no longer available. This gives you a much wider measuring range and is easier to read. Nice alternative to the Compac and Interpid models.

A few posts up I linked the similar model I bought recently...white face is the only difference I notice: .0005 graduations, .06" range, and a tilted face. It's model 513-442-10T. I've only been using it for a couple of days, but I like it and I'm happy I went with the tilted face.
