Storage unit Shop?

I'm moving out of my shop due to some issues with a neighbor, I rented a 10X30 storage unit for my equipment & a 4X8 for junk. I'm trying to set up the 10X30 so I can work in it. I have only one 110 outlet & a light bulb (I have 3 new 4 bulb 4' light fixtures). Thinking of getting a generator for additional power, also think I can run from the main box some more power if I promise to stay awhile (6 mos) or more. Any of you ever do this or have some ideas or advice? Pics tomorrow.

Unless your neighbor is paying your suport I would just tell them to pound sand.

Have A Nice Day!

I know an older gentleman who has his shop in a storage unit in Houston. Impeccable work. Packed his stuff in like sardines. When I think of a one-man-shop, his comes to mind. I believe you couldn't get but one man at a time in there. His arrangement is slick though, he has three phase power, fully tooled up shop, and lives about block away. One of the last true craftsmen. I haven't spoken with him in some time. I hope he's still topside. Maybe I'll check on him soon.

You mean someone in Tenn. is giving you grief about a hobby?? I bet the story would change if he needed something done. Pretty sure as long as you don't go too late into the night he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

If he makes you real mad just park the bus in between you and his property as close as you can to his side. I had a neighbor like that once, nosey bast@#$. Of course no has seen him for a while.....

Hi Charley :: Sorry to hear about your problem with the guy next door, you didn't say what the big problem is with him and you, But there is always an answer better then you moving out, I had a problem in 1994 when I wanted to build my shop on my property 4 blocks up the road from my lake house, the guy that lived across the street from my property said he didn't want a shop across the street from him and he would take me to court over it, I said well I could put something worse in there, He said I don't think so,
" HE WAS WRONG" I move in an old 1967 Trailer home, and my neighbor on the lake was going to tear down his cabin and build a new house, I said give it to me and i will move it, He said fine take it, I had it picked up all 700 sq. feet of it and moved right across the street from the guy that was going to take me to court,
Then I bough the lot behine me and built my shop there, A year later he sold his house and moved, Problem Solved This Don't Look To Bad Does It, LOL This is what my place looks like today We sold our lake housre and moved up to the shop,

1 the trouble with a neighbor is DONE.
that's why you left the commercial park or
whatever it was.
2 you're still moving into new storage facility.
good.
look forward to humorous reports after moving done
and you can relax.

Have A Nice Day!
