Ask around on the Nitro forum I am sure some Mannlicher Schoenauer owners will be able to assist. May I ask you a favor? If you have the time will you be so kind as to take some photos regarding the scope mounts on your Mannlicher Schoenauer and send it to my e-mail . godendaal@hotmail.com. I really would like to copy the scope mounts for use on my .458 Mannlicher Schoenauer?

Hello Gert, absolutely. When I get my hands on the rifle I will measure them up and send you the dimensions as best I can. It will be about 3 to 4 weeks until I have it in my hands as I am waiting for paperwork to clear. Thanks again for informing me about Nitro Express. I have posted there and have found a lot of useful info already.

Well I just passed the hunting exam so I will have the permission to take the rifles home by the end of this week. I will get plenty of photos and measurements for you Gert.

That is a beautiful rifle, and not a bad price either. I have a 1954 model in 6.55X54 MS and now looking for one in 8mm. If possible could you please send the photo's and measurements too me also? jackh53@earthlink.net. I would like to build a set for my rifle also.
