Something has changed?

If the screen goes blank, try just hitting refresh.

No crying, just information in case it helps-

I just went to edit a post. No big deal, they'll figure it out.

I posted a post, clicked "edit",
My post (already posted), went blank. A the standard "reply" field was also blank.
Refreshing with the browser button, refreshing with CTRL+R, and refreshing with F5, those take me to the same place I was on the same thread, before I had hit the "edit" button. Repeating those actions multiple times gets the same results. I think there's a definition for that.

No idea if it matters at all, but if you wanna blame me for it If it makes a difference, Firefox 133.0.3 on Mint 21

Well now when I look at my contents I get the last 3 replies that I posted but nothing else. Seems like the Grinch stole all my post from the past. I would like to have them back if possible.

@ltlvt

Opposite way in the UK... Down is On, Up is off. Easier to turn the lights on with your elbow/chin/nose/anything else if your hands are full. We also have switches on our sockets (outlets to those in theUS), plus ALL plugs are three pin so they include an earth, despite some electrical / electonic goods only having feed & return with no earth wire!

As to the "white/blank page when hitting edit, a number of people found that was something to do with browser add-ons.
Most all plugs in USA are 3 prong with ground, except the old 2 prong plugs left over from pre 1960s when the 3 prong outlets were introduced, called U ground due to the U shape of the ground prong, the other two prongs being flat.

Except those with plastic cases. They have 2 prong plugs.

Thanks for the detail. No, this is not a user problem. We had a good two week run with our updated search functions, but it seems to be causing major server errors which cause the site to timeout intermittently, hence, the white screens you guys are getting. Usually a refresh would just keep things chugging along, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I think for the time being I'm going to need to disable the advanced search features and go back to formula.
