I have three shapers and really don't have the time to use any of them. The story is too long to go into but the short of it is two of the three were too cheap to pass on. Two of my shapers are Atlas 7" machines. The second one was bought for $200 because it had all the guards and the Atlas vise the first one did not. The third shaper is an 8" Shape Rite with a rotating table that was 100% complete with vise and tool holder that I paid $20 for. That is how a guy end up with three of them!
Ultimately I will re-assemble the first Atlas which is presently torn down and sell it. I might even sell the second Atlas some day who knows. That Shape Rite is a very nice machine. One of these days I will get to play, we are too busy raising kids right now for me to have much free time though so my machines get to sleep a lot.
