Resolved Site crashed bad last night and now all my ignored forums are back?

Site maintenance the other night caused some issues with the board software. Depending on how you use the different board features you may or may not have noticed this.

I contacted the admins and most things are worked out except the post edit function.

Is this on my end? Smileys don't work for me on this board due to browser addons and I know that is on my end.

So I'm reaching out to see of anyone else has this issue as I haven't seen it mentioned.

Can you edit your own posts or do you just get a blank dialog box with nothing to edit it inside?

OK, regarding the edit time limit and functionality. I need to go systematically through each permission group and reset on edit times. Generally speaking we have very long limits to edit posts. Also, we don't like to have posts open for editing forever, due to having some content exist for posterity's sake. I'm open to changing that in the very near future, but not ready to make a wholesale change. In the meantime, I've loaded an add-on that will allow an admin to change the edit time limit on a particular post. In the event that you need to edit a post that has exceeded its current limit, take the following steps:

1) Report the post with the message, "Please change edit time limit."
2) Someone will jump right on it from the staff.

This is a temporary fix until I'm able to go in and clean up the permissions. Thanks.
