Sewer manhole lid worth saving?

About to throw away am old sewer manhole ring and lid and thought of recycling it. Any value in it being used by one of us here? It is heavy steel, cast I suppose.

Yeah I'd save it don't know how it'll machine some cast iron is tough as nails. Some cast needs to get annealed before machining. I've ran into trouble machining tractor counterbalance weights. Prior to annealing I tried machining and the carbide cutter was struggling to make the cut. After annealing it cut much better but still a tough cookie.

Make a welding rotator out of the lid or a stovetop. Sure you'll find a use.
