Sears power hacksaw repair

My Craftsman saw like that has simple 1/8 inch roll pins. So I suppose it depends on when made, what model # and who has worked on it in the last 50+ years !
P.S. Yes, many I have seen over the years have broken vices so nice to see you have the original.
I have a faster/bigger horizontal band-saw and now the Wilton vertical from Dave's recent clearing of space :) but these old Craftsman metal saws are just neat to watch. Enjoy !

I ended up getting a 1/8 dowel pin that fit perfectly.

I have a small used and abused band saw that I have been trying to get working. Honestly I think it’s junk. Although slower, is there any reason I need a horizontal bandsaw over this power hacksaw?? I like it because it’s built like a tank and is small.

They are also really nice for a small shop as long as you are patient, a fair bit smaller than even a 4x6 bandsaw.
