Sears power hacksaw repair

I picked up this power hacksaw in a package deal. I’m planning on cleaning it up and putting it to work.

Like a dummy I broke it as soon as I got it home. I broke off one of the studs that holds the blade on.

Can anyone tell me what material to use on this for a replacement? I’m sure it’s got to be hardened or something. Can I just match it up with a metal dowel pin from my local hardware??

Thanks guys

2 more machines to post pics of @Defender92 . Remember , we like PICS ! :)
Lol. The other two are woodworking. Older Shop Smith and a Delta jigsaw. I’m planning on selling them as I have no interest in woodworking. I was hoping the jigsaw could handle metal but nope.

And a Sears 133.22560 sander for an extra $20. That will go into my kydex holster shop :)

It is nice that your hacksaw still has the vise, this is often damaged or missing on these saws.

Wood tools are welcome here too ya know , we won't throw you to the dark side ! Good looking scroll saw too . Jim says a die filer could be made . ???????? I'll have to look into that as I have one down the basement .
