This little machine has an impressive history. It is trademarked TML New Britain Ct. In 1942, Thorton Mechanical Laboratories (TML) began manufacturing the first commercial surface grinder. The design was later acquired and refined by Harig Products Inc.. Tru-Tech Systems acquired the company in November of 2002. With over 50 years of experience and over 45,000 machines in the field, the name Harig has become synonymous with the term Surface Grinders. This info is straight from the Tru-Tech web site.
