I've been out of town a few days. I know this section of the forum is for buying advice. There really isn't a section for Rotex So I posted this here.

There's no way around taking this machine apart for a good clean and lube before I put it to use so I'll post that up in another part of the forum. I'm no expert by any means but I'll post it all up at least for a reference to anyone else that ends up with one of these machines. There just isn't much information out there on the forums.

Here's the thread about @markba633csi Diamond mill with Rotex head:

Here's the Rotex page at lathes.co.uk:
http://www.lathes.co.uk/rotex/

Vintage Machinery has some info on Rotex too.
A list of documents here:
http://vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=4158&tab=3

.....but that first one is only a 4-page marketting flyer on the RM-1 mill, unfortunately not a true owner's manual:

Good luck and please keep showing photos us your progress!

Thanks brino, I saw a few of those and a couple I didn't. Thanks for the links!

I'll post up my work on the machine in the misc. antique machinery section.
