Re: Rockwell 6" x 48" belt with 12" disc sander
When I first dis-assembled this sander for cleaning there was a couple inches of grit and slivers built up under the disc sander base. I really didn't like the idea of it doing it again so I made a discharge chute to bolt on under the disc sander.
Made it for standard 3" ductwork and piped it into a metal 5 gallon bucket. With the slight downward angle that I built in the debris just works its way down the duct and falls in the bucket.
