Does anyone know what size the nut is that holds the pulley on the spindle? We bought it at an auction and it was missing several pieces.

Will probably have to measure since there were so many clones built.

The outside of the threads measure 1-5/8" and the threads are 16 tpi. No metric threads come close on my thread pitch guage. Is there any readily available nut that will work on it? Just not too excited about having to make one.

Probably not from the hardware store, but McMaster-Carr should have one. Actually they don’t.

I’d make up a list of all the parts you need and contact Rong-Fu directly for possible sources.

BTW, my RF30 clone, (1954 model) uses Inch threads throughout so your determination of thread size may be correct. I won't bother pulling the nut on mine but it appears to have a 1-5/8" o.d. thread and the nut size measures 2.158" across the flats.

edit: 1984 model, not 1954

I don't know the size but mine has left hand threads and inch threads on the rest of the machine. Made in Taiwan
