Removing a broken roll pin under flush

I have a Cardinal Speedvise with a broken off roll pin under flush, I'd like to remove just because it bugs me (see pic below). Previous owner was using it and others as some sort of holding jig.

Any tips?
They are pretty hard but I’ve taken them out with endmills in a Bridgeport. The very last bit of the roll pin tends to jam the mill and break it.

If the part design allows, drill from the opposite side and punch it out.
Good roll pins are very hard as mentioned above, a drill would probably catch and break the bit, adding to the dilemma
EDM would do it but access to one may be difficult.

put a tig welding rod into the roll pin and light-up on it just enough to get them stuck together, then pull out with rod
I wonder if similar could be done with JB-weld after a good de-grease and dry......
Seems to me that glueing a nail or pin inside the roll pin using Krazy glue might hold enough to allow pulling it out.
Care would have to be taken not to glue the roll pin itself to the walls of the hole.
