Ordered the Iscar, with my discounts, $129
My understanding is that ETM and Iscar are made in the same factory in Israel. The ETM is more expensive though, for some reason.
I have also got an EMCO FB2 , may I know if you have measured the TIR of this chuck when used together with EMCO ER25 collets ?Just to update this thread, received the Iscar chuck. It is nice and they included a bearing collet nut, which wasn't mentioned in the description.

Thanks ! found it at this page of MSC : https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/07543341#specifications It doesn't specify the thread of the draw bar. EMCO original is M10. May I know the thread size of the holder you have bought ?I purchased the chuck from MSC at the time.
Yeah, never in my 38yrs of doing this have I been concerned with runout of an endmill.I have Shars ER32 holders for R8 and for MT3. I bought ball bearing nuts for both because they appear to seat without twisting the collet on the ol' eyeball test. Usually when I use one I don't think to check runout, mainly because whatever is clamped in the collet looks to be standing still and runs without vibes. That's not very quantitative, but I don't want to feed into my psychology over a few tenths of runout at a step like chucking a tool in a collet. For the most part, under .005" on finished work is on the mark in my world. So if you'll accept anecdotal evidence, the Shars collet holders work great.
I think it is 3/8" if I remember correctly, I would have to check. Thanks ! found it at this page of MSC : https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/07543341#specifications It doesn't specify the thread of the draw bar. EMCO original is M10. May I know the thread size of the holder you have bought ?
