Quill feed on my toolmaster?

From the page, pull down on the feed lever and it should go down, try another feed rate and see if it works.

As I interpret the text in the manual, the feed is always "engaged". Isn't that why the control lever has a "neutral" position.
The text also makes reference to a "shear pin". Is the pin sheared?

I also own a Toolmaster 1D and had the same issue with the power feed. To engage power feed you simply operate the feed lever, however it seems that you may have sheared the roll pin within the power feed housing. This is a very common issue with theToolmaster, don’t get me wrong-it’s a great idea to sacrifice a roll pin vs a really expensive gear set, it’s just a pain to replace the pin. You will need to remove the head or motor housing in order to remove the power feed housing to replace the roll pin. Note: you can roll the head 90 degree, build wood shim stacks and lay it down on your machine table. I have also heard that guys turn the head 180 degrees as-well. i would also order a new gasket-maybe a few spares.....I hope this helps, I wish that I had documented my power feed repairs. Please post some photos if you need to replace the roll pin. Good luck
