Sometimes I have a problem with the tool post turning as I try to tighten the nut after repositioning so I made a short shaft that screws into the hole in question . Then when I tighten it down I have something to hold on to.

I think that problem is common, I put a holder in the QCTP and run it up against the chuck when tightening, while maintaining pressure on the carriage handwheel to hold the tool holder tightly against the chuck.

Another way to prevent the tool post from turning when you tighten the top nut is to put a thin shim washer under the nut.

I removed that little spring loaded pin from underneath as I found it a pain locking up the rotation when I wanted it to turn.
I also use a thin brown paper shim between the solid mount and bottom of the AXA tool post.
Another mod was using a much finer thread on the tool post bolt.
I will now use a shim under the top nut as well as sometimes it will turn slightly when tightening it. Thanks Tozguy.

I watched the video and realized I saw it a while back. I think back then I did not have a toolpost like this. Now I can use the hole. Thanks everyone.
